Knowledge Base

Knowledge Base answers questions from your agency's connected knowledge: client briefs, brand guidelines, meeting notes, documents, and proof points. You ask in plain language, and it gives you a written answer drawn only from that material, with the sources shown beneath each answer.

You meet it on the Knowledge page in the app. It works like a chat box: you type a question, you get a sourced answer, and you can keep asking follow-up questions in the same conversation. You can also ask from Slack with the knowledge command, and the answer comes back privately to you. Mentioning the Knowledge Base agent in a channel does not work, so use the command (see Commands) or the Knowledge page.

Knowledge Base reads and answers. It does not write anything that goes out, post on your behalf, or take any action. Its whole job is to give you a reliable answer from what your agency already knows.

What It Does

When you ask a question, Knowledge Base looks across your agency's connected knowledge and pulls the answer from there. It does not invent facts and it does not pull from the open web. If the material covers your question, you get a clear written answer with the sources it used listed underneath. Where a source has a link, you can open it and check it yourself.

When the connected knowledge does not cover your question, it tells you so plainly instead of guessing. That honesty is the point: an answer with no sources is worse than a clear "I do not have that," because a sourced answer is something you can act on with confidence.

It is also access-aware. You only see answers drawn from knowledge you are allowed to access. If a piece of material is outside your access, it does not appear in your answers, and another teammate with different access may see a different result.

Key Capabilities

CapabilityWhat it gives you
Plain-language questionsAsk the way you would ask a colleague; no special phrasing or commands needed
Answers from your own knowledgeEvery answer is drawn only from your connected material, never the open web
Sources shown every timeEach answer lists the sources it used, so you can open and verify them
Follow-up conversationThe Knowledge page keeps context, so you can ask a follow-up without repeating yourself
Honest "I don't know"It tells you plainly when your knowledge does not cover something, instead of guessing
Counts and listsAsk "how many", "top five" or "group by" and, where your agency has that data as a table you are allowed to see, it returns exact figures; otherwise you get a sourced written answer
Access-aware answersYou only see answers from knowledge you are allowed to access
Ask from SlackA quick way to ask without leaving Slack; the answer comes back privately to you

What Requires Your Attention

Knowledge Base takes no actions, so there is nothing here to approve and nothing it does on your behalf. It answers when you ask and stays quiet otherwise.

Two things are worth knowing as you use it. First, treat every answer as a starting point you can verify: open the listed sources to confirm anything before you rely on it in client work. Second, when it says it cannot find something, that is genuine information, not a glitch. It usually means the material is not in your connected knowledge yet, or it sits outside your access.

Who It's For

  • Account managers: get a fast, sourced answer about a client's brief, brand voice, or past results without digging through documents.
  • Content and marketing staff: check what your own content library and proof points already say before you start drafting.
  • Agency owners: ask across everything your agency knows and see exactly where each answer came from.
