Marketing Podcast surfaces every update and deliverable in two places: its Slack channel and the Podcast workspace in the app. Here is what each message type means and what you do with it. If your agency runs without Slack, the same updates and review still live in the app: see The Marketing Workspace.
Episode Plan Ready
When: You requested an episode plan and the agent has finished building it.
What it contains:
- Episode title suggestion
- Four to seven segments, each with a working title and one-line intent
- Approximate runtime per segment
- Twelve specific talking points
- A call to action for the episode
- A short rationale explaining why the structure fits the brand and audience
Action required: Review the plan in Slack or in the Podcast workspace in the app. Approve, edit, or reject it. You can also regenerate the plan from the episode if you want a fresh take.
Transcription Complete
When: The agent finishes transcribing submitted audio.
What it contains:
- Confirmation that transcription is done
- Word count and number of speakers identified
Action required: None. The agent moves automatically to clip selection and show-notes writing.
Show-Notes Package Ready
When: The agent finishes processing a transcript into a full show-notes deliverable.
What it contains:
- Episode summary (90 to 140 words, focused on the listener payoff), which also folds in the episode's key takeaways, the resources mentioned in it, and a short FAQ
- Timestamped chapter markers drawn from the recording
- Three to six standout quotes with speaker attribution
- Short social captions ready to post
Action required: Review the show notes in Slack or in the Podcast workspace in the app. Approve, edit, or reject the episode.
Clip Suggestions Ready
When: The agent has identified the strongest short-form clip windows in the transcript.
What it contains:
- Three to six clip windows, each with start and end timestamps
- A hook describing why the clip works
- The most quotable line from the clip
- Speaker attribution
- A suggested social caption (60 to 180 characters)
Action required: Review the suggestions. Approve the clips you want to use. Edit caption text or request a revised clip list if the suggestions do not fit.
Promotional Pieces Ready
When: The agent has turned the episode into its promotion set.
What it contains:
- A blog post built from the episode, structured for search
- A newsletter segment with a subject line and preview text
- Social posts written for several platforms
- A video description with a title and tags
Action required: Review each piece in Slack or in the Podcast workspace in the app. Approve, edit, or reject it before it goes out.
Strategy Response
When: You asked a podcast strategy question.
What it contains:
- Specific recommendations with reasoning
- Format, cadence, and distribution guidance tailored to the brief you provided
Action required: None unless the advice prompts a follow-up request (such as planning an episode or processing audio).
Processing Error
When: Something prevented the agent from completing a transcription or show-notes task.
What it contains:
- A description of what went wrong (for example: unsupported file format, audio too short to process)
- Which episode was affected
- A suggested next step
Action required: Follow the suggested step and resubmit the request. If the problem recurs, contact support at support@agenteous.com.
