Commands

Sales Assistant is driven by approval cards in its Slack channel and by the Sales page in the app. There are no typed commands for scanning, listing the queue, or drafting for a named company. If you type to it in Slack, you get a conversation, not an action.

Ask a General Question

@Agenteous how does the quiet prospect scan decide who to flag?

You get a plain answer drawn from your knowledge base. This is conversation only: it does not run a scan, show a queue, or change a draft.

Run a Scan Now

On the Sales page, click Scan Now. It runs every enabled check and writes drafts for up to three new signals right away. Any others wait for the next weekday-morning run. When it finishes, the page tells you how many drafts are ready and how many new signals it found. If it fails, you see a short failure message and can try again.

Approval Buttons

Each pending card has these controls.

  • Approve: writes the draft into the Gmail Drafts folder of the mailbox Sales Assistant writes from. The card then shows Open Draft and a note to send from Gmail. If separation of duties applies, the owner of that mailbox cannot approve their own draft; Slack shows them a message asking a colleague to approve it.
  • Redraft: opens a box where you describe what to change. The draft is rewritten in place and the card updates.
  • Reject (give feedback): in the overflow menu. You are asked why, and the reason is recorded.
  • Dismiss: in the overflow menu. The prospect is marked handled and stays away until the quiet period resets.

On the Sales Page

Each draft row offers two actions.

  • Open in Gmail: appears once a Gmail draft exists, which is after you approve the card in Slack. It opens the draft so you can edit and send.
  • Dismiss: marks the prospect handled, the same as on the card.

A row whose draft has not been approved shows "Draft text ready (no Gmail link yet)". The app does not have an Approve button, so a team that does not use Slack has no way to turn a draft into a Gmail draft from the app. Ask your administrator to keep Slack delivery on for this agent.
