Concierge

The Concierge is the first agent you talk to in Agenteous. It lives in the concierge channel and does one thing well: it figures out which specialist can help you and hands your request off to that agent, with a clear confirmation of where it went.

You do not need to know the full agent roster to get things done. Describe what you want, and the Concierge routes it for you. If the request could fit two specialists, it asks one question to sharpen the route. Once the right agent is identified, the Concierge tags them in their home channel and confirms the handoff in your thread.

The Concierge does not produce marketing deliverables, write content, or run campaigns. It is a triage agent, not a specialist. When the work itself needs to happen, that is the specialist's job.

What It Does

Triage and route. When a message arrives in the concierge channel, the Concierge reads the request, identifies the underlying job, and routes it to the active specialist whose scope matches. The handoff is explicit: the agent is named, the channel is named, and you see confirmation that the tag posted.

Host. If you land in the concierge channel without knowing where to start, the Concierge can tell you what Agenteous covers, which specialists are active, and what falls outside the platform's scope. It answers from the current live roster, not from a cached or estimated picture.

Clarify. When the right route is genuinely ambiguous, the Concierge asks one focused question. One question only. If a single question does not resolve the ambiguity, it will ask you to restate the request in one line.

What Requires Your Attention

The Concierge is a routing agent. It does not produce outbound content or deliverables, so it does not have an approval step of its own. The approval step lives with the specialist who receives the handoff.

There are a few cases where the Concierge will ask something of you directly:

  • Clarification needed. If your request is ambiguous between two specialists, the Concierge posts a single question in your thread. Answer it and the handoff follows automatically.
  • No specialist yet. If your request is clear but no active specialist covers the domain, the Concierge tells you that plainly rather than routing to an agent that cannot help.
  • Out of scope. If the request belongs to the platform team, your agency's internal staff, or an external vendor, the Concierge names the boundary rather than routing it incorrectly.
