Notifications
The Concierge responds to messages you send; it does not push proactive alerts or scheduled reports. Every message it posts is a direct reply to something you asked. Below are the response types you will see.
Routing Confirmation
When: You send a request that the Concierge can match to an active specialist.
What it contains:
- The name of the specialist receiving the handoff
- The channel the specialist works in
- A one-line summary of the request as the Concierge understood it
- Confirmation that the tag posted in the specialist's channel
Action required: None. The specialist picks up from their channel. If you want to add context, reply in your thread before the specialist responds.
Clarifying Question
When: Your request could reasonably fit two different specialists and a single question can distinguish between them.
What it contains:
- A single focused question (never two) that identifies which domain you need
- No routing happens until you answer
Action required: Reply in the thread. Once the Concierge has your answer, it routes and posts a routing confirmation.
No Active Specialist
When: Your request maps to a clear domain, but no active specialist currently covers it.
What it contains:
- A plain statement that no specialist is available for that domain
- No placeholder routing, no invented agent name
Action required: None required. If the need is urgent, contact support@agenteous.com so the platform team is aware.
Out-Of-Scope Notice
When: The request belongs outside the platform entirely (platform incidents, billing, vendor accounts, internal staff matters).
What it contains:
- A plain description of the scope boundary
- Where to direct the request instead (platform team, your internal team, or an external contact)
Action required: Follow up with the appropriate party named in the response.
What You Will Not See
The Concierge does not send approval cards, daily summaries, or background monitoring alerts. Those come from specialist agents after they receive a handoff. The Concierge's job ends at the confirmed handoff.
