Commands

The Principal Assistant has two Slack commands, both for the decision journal. Everything else it does arrives on its own, and you act on it with buttons in Slack or on the Meeting Intel page in the app. Typing to it in Slack (an @mention) gets you a general conversation that can look things up in your knowledge base. It does not send the daily brief or meeting prep on request.

Log a Decision

/decision we are moving to monthly retainers for all clients starting next quarter

Saves the decision in your decision journal. You get a confirmation that only you can see.

Search Your Decisions

/decisions

Shows the five most recent decisions in the journal. The reply is visible only to you.

/decisions search retainer

Shows up to five of the most recent decisions that contain your search text, matched as one phrase exactly as you typed it. Search for a single word to find the most. Again visible only to you.

Email Replies

The Principal Assistant has no reply cards and writes no reply drafts. Replies to the principal's mail are drafted by Account Assistant, which sends its reply cards to the mailbox owner's private Slack messages.

Meeting Buttons

On a meeting in the Meeting Intel page, Promote to Blog and Promote to LinkedIn create drafts in the content and social approval queues. Nothing is published until it is approved there.
