Commands
Talk to the Principal Assistant in your dedicated channel or by direct message. Type naturally; no special syntax is required. The examples below show common phrasings to give you a starting point. You can also do most of this from the app: your Inbox page holds the email reply drafts, and your Meeting Intel page holds the meeting summaries and promote options.
Request Your Morning Brief on Demand
@Agenteous morning brief
Posts the same morning brief card you receive on schedule, pulled fresh at the moment you ask. Useful if you missed the scheduled card or want a mid-morning refresh.
Request an End-Of-Day Brief on Demand
@Agenteous eod brief
Delivers the end-of-day summary now rather than waiting for the scheduled send. Shows what is open, what arrived today, and anything to handle before you close out.
Get an Inbox Summary
@Agenteous inbox summary
Posts a digest of recent email arrivals: how many came in, how many need a reply, how many were receipts, and anything ambiguous. The full draft cards for items needing a reply arrive separately.
Ask for a Specific Email Draft
@Agenteous draft a reply to the email from the SaaS client about the campaign timeline
Generates a draft in your voice based on the matched email thread. The draft arrives as an approval card and also appears on your Inbox page in the app, ready for you to Approve, Archive, or Reject.
Process a Meeting Transcript
@Agenteous meeting intel [paste transcript or share the transcript link]
Processes the transcript and returns a meeting intelligence card with a summary, extracted action items with owners and due hints, and a follow-up email draft if one is warranted.
Ask What Came Out of a Meeting
@Agenteous what were the action items from my call with the SaaS client?
Retrieves the action items logged from that meeting's transcript. Works for recent meetings where a transcript was already processed.
Capture a Decision
@Agenteous decision: we are moving to monthly retainers for all clients starting Q3
Logs the decision with the surrounding context you provide. You can also react to any Slack message with the appropriate emoji to queue it for capture; the assistant then confirms and enriches it.
Request Meeting Prep
@Agenteous prep for my 2 pm call
Returns a prep card for the next upcoming meeting, with relevant context from your CRM, open tasks, and prior meeting notes with the same participants.
Search Your Decision History
@Agenteous what did we decide about the retainer model?
Searches your captured decisions and returns the matching entries with their recorded rationale and date.
Promote Meeting Content
@Agenteous promote the key insight from today's transcript to LinkedIn
Hands the relevant excerpt to the Marketing Social agent to draft a LinkedIn post. That agent's own approval flow applies before anything is published.
Email Draft Actions
When the Principal Assistant has a reply ready for you, it shows up two places: as an approval card in your channel, and on your Inbox page in the app. The actions are the same in both places:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | Sends the reply from your connected email account with your usual signature appended |
| Archive | Files the message without replying, and removes the original from your inbox |
| Reject | Discards the draft; no email is sent and the original stays in your inbox |
If a draft is close but not right, open it in the app to read the full proposed reply before you decide.
Snooze
Any card the assistant posts to your channel can be snoozed. Snooze sets it aside and brings it back later when you have time to deal with it, so a card you cannot act on right now does not get lost in the scroll or force a decision before you are ready.
Promote and Escalation Actions
When the assistant surfaces a meeting-content promotion or an escalation, the card lets you confirm the action or set it aside. Confirming a promotion hands the content to the right agent to draft; that agent's own approval step then applies before anything is published.
