Frequently Asked Questions

Can Marketing Designer Generate Images for Any Brand We Manage?

Yes, as long as the brand has been set up in Agenteous. The agent reads the brand's visual register before refining any brief, so you get results that fit that specific brand. If you do not specify a brand name in your request and you manage more than one, the agent will ask you to confirm which brand the image is for.

How Is the Refined Brief Different from What I Typed?

The agent rewrites your prompt to name the scene specifically (place, subject, action), add the composition rule for the target size, reference the brand's palette, and remove visual cliches that tend to make AI-generated images look generic. The refined brief is what the image generator actually uses. You can see the full refined brief in every generation result.

What Are the Two Alternative Prompts?

Each generation result includes two alternative prompts the agent prepared alongside the primary. They take a different approach: a different scene, a tighter or wider crop, or a different mood. If you want either alternative, click the button in the result or ask the agent to re-generate with it. All three prompts are saved with the generation record.

Does the Agent Attach Images to Posts Automatically?

No. Attaching a generated image to a content post is always your decision. The agent posts the result and waits for you to confirm the attachment. This applies whether the request came directly from you or from a Marketing Content handoff.

Can I Reuse an Image Across Two Different Client Brands?

Not by default. Using an asset created for one brand on a different brand requires an explicit instruction. If you want to reuse an asset across brands, say so clearly in your request so the agent can note it and generate something appropriate rather than copying an existing branded asset.

What Happens When the Image Generation Service Is Unavailable?

The agent saves the refined prompt and posts a notification with the full prompt text. You can copy that prompt and generate the image in any external tool, then reply in the thread with the result URL so the agent can attach it to the right record.

Common Issues

The Generated Image Does Not Look Like the Brand

  1. Check that the brand is correctly identified in your request. If the agent is working from the wrong brand context, the visual register will be wrong.
  2. Review the brand fit note in the generation result. If it references palette or mood that does not match what you expect, the brand context may be incomplete. Contact support@agenteous.com to review the brand setup.
  3. Try one of the two alternative prompts. They use different scene approaches and sometimes land closer to what you are looking for.
  4. Reply with specific feedback ("the colors are too dark," "I need a more editorial feel") and ask for a re-generation. The agent uses your feedback to refine the next brief.

The Image Generation Is Stuck or Taking Too Long

  1. Wait a few minutes: the result appears in Slack as soon as it completes, and generation time varies.
  2. If nothing arrives after 10 minutes, check the design channel for an error notification.
  3. If the notification says the generation service was not reachable, the agent has saved the refined prompt. You can use it manually and reply with the result URL.

The Alt Text Is Too Generic

The alt text is generated automatically from the refined brief. If it is not specific enough, reply with a more specific description and ask the agent to revise it. A good alt text names the subject, action, and one relevant detail, rather than just "a photo of a person at a desk."

The Image Was Attached to the Wrong Post

  1. Check the generation result message: the post it was attached to is named there.
  2. If the wrong post was selected, contact support@agenteous.com to correct the attachment. Do not re-generate: the image itself is correct, only the link needs to change.

I Asked for a Specific Size and the Image Came Back at a Different Size

Make sure you named the platform or the dimensions in your request. If you named a platform (for example, "Instagram story"), check that the agent confirmed the 1080x1920 size in the refined brief note. If the size is wrong in the brief, reply with the correct dimensions before the generation runs.
