Schedule

Marketing Email runs when you ask it to. Send a request in Slack and it drafts, reviews, and posts back in that same conversation. There is no fixed broadcast time and no automatic batch of emails that goes out without a request from you.

On Request

Every draft starts with a message from you. The agent picks up your request, writes the draft, runs it through the compliance review, and posts the approval card. This typically takes a few minutes. For longer or more complex emails, it may take slightly longer; the agent will post in the thread when the draft is ready.

Queued Sends

Once you approve a draft, it enters the send queue. From there, two options apply:

  • Send immediately: the agent dispatches the email as soon as you approve.
  • Scheduled send: if you specified a send time when you made the request (or set one in the web app), the approved draft waits in the queue and sends at that time. The agent confirms the scheduled time in the approval card.

You can check the status of any queued draft at any time by asking in Slack.

Frequency Cap Enforcement

If a brand has a weekly send limit configured, the scheduler checks that limit before accepting a send into the queue. If queueing the send would exceed the limit, the agent tells you the conflict and the next available window. It does not silently delay or drop the send.

Working with Marketing Strategist

When Marketing Strategist assigns email work as part of a campaign plan, Marketing Email picks up the brief and drafts accordingly. The approval step is the same: you review and approve before anything goes out. The two agents coordinate on the content direction; the send decision is always yours.
