Marketing Video lets you know when work is ready for review and when it needs more information to proceed. Each item appears as a card in Slack and, at the same time, as a row in your Work Queue in the app. You can act from either place; acting in one clears the other. If your agency has turned Slack off, the Work Queue is where these items wait for you.

Script and Storyboard Approval Card

When: The agent has finished both the script and the shot-by-shot storyboard.

What it contains:

  • The full script: hook, voice-over body, and call to action with word counts and approximate timing
  • A rationale section explaining why the script is structured for the stated audience and objective
  • The storyboard, listed shot by shot: duration, image brief, motion direction, and voice-over segment for each scene
  • Aspect ratio and total duration at the top for quick reference
  • Approval buttons: Approve, Edit, Redraft, Snooze, Skip

Action required: Review the script and storyboard, then act on the card. Nothing moves to rendering until you approve.

Script-Only Approval Card

When: You requested a script without a storyboard, or the storyboard is pending still images from Marketing Designer.

What it contains:

  • Hook, voice-over body, and call to action
  • Word count and timing estimate
  • Rationale for the structural approach
  • Approval buttons

Action required: Approve to lock in the script before storyboard work begins, or request edits.

Brand Review Result

When: The assembled video has been checked against your brand guidelines, just before it is ready to publish.

What it contains:

  • Whether the video passed or was flagged
  • Each flagged item, in plain language, with what to change
  • A note on when the review ran

Action required: If it passed, the video is cleared to publish. If anything is flagged, edit the script and re-submit for review. Publishing is blocked until the review passes.

Video Ready to Publish

When: The video has been assembled and has cleared brand review.

What it contains:

  • A preview of the finished cut
  • Aspect ratio, total duration, and shot count
  • The option to publish or paste in the public link once you have uploaded it

Action required: Approve and publish, or paste the public link to mark the project complete.

Clarification Request

When: The brief is missing a required input (such as audience, duration, or aspect ratio) and the agent cannot proceed without it.

What it contains:

  • Which detail is missing
  • A prompt asking you to reply in the same thread

Action required: Reply with the missing information. The agent picks up the thread and continues.

Edit Confirmation

When: You clicked Edit and the agent has produced a revised version.

What it contains:

  • The updated script or storyboard, with a brief note on what changed
  • A new set of approval buttons

Action required: Review the revision and act on the card.
