Commands

PM Assistant has no commands. There is no Slack command, no mention that it answers, no approval buttons, and no app page for it. It works in the background and sends messages. This page explains where they arrive and what you can do with them.

Where Messages Arrive

Private messages go to one person. The end-of-shift time check, the catch-up note, the weekly deadline check and the task budget alert arrive in that person's own Slack messages. Only that person sees them.

Team posts go to your operations channel. The morning ops brief, the daily budget report, the Time Check for Yesterday summary, the end-of-day wrap, the weekly report, the rounded-entries warning and the one-line budget alerts all go there. These do not depend on any person's notification settings.

Buttons on Messages

The buttons only open ClickUp. PM Assistant changes nothing when you click them.

How You Act on a Message

  • If you are short on hours or logged nothing yesterday, open your timesheet and log the missing time.
  • If a task is over its estimate, open the task, stop the timer and talk to your manager.
  • If a team post shows someone short or a task over budget, follow up with that person or open the task.

You do not reply to PM Assistant. It will not log time, edit a task or message anyone for you.

The Record of Alerts

Managers can see a log of most of what PM Assistant sent on the PM Alerts page in the Operator Console, under Monitoring. It shows Total Alerts, Alert Types and Users, then a table of alerts. It records the catch-up notes, budget-exceeded alerts, the daily budget report, the end-of-day wrap and the weekly report. It does not record the end-of-shift check, the weekly deadline check or the morning ops brief.
