Notifications

Brand Guard sends one alert on its own: a notice when it stops a scheduled blog or social post at publish time. It does not post when it approves a draft. Everything else is the result of something you asked for, plus the record of every audit in the app.

Blocked At Publish

When: A blog post or social post that was approved and scheduled is rejected by Brand Guard at the moment it would have published. This happens in Enforce mode; Warn never blocks.

What it contains:

• The decision and the score out of 100
• What was blocked (for example, Blog Post or LinkedIn Post) and its title or first line
• Up to five flags
• A link to the item in the app

Where: The Slack channel of the agent that tried to publish it (Content or Social). If that agent has no channel, it goes to Brand Guard's channel. If neither has one, there is no notice; the item still shows as blocked in the app.

Action required: Nothing was published. Open the item in the app, restore it, edit it using the flags, and approve it again. A check that could not run at all is reported to the platform monitor instead of this channel.

Topic Suggestion Card

When: You run the suggest-topics or review-topics command in Slack.

What it contains:

• A header naming the brand
• The number of pending topics
• For each topic, a title, its content pillar, scores for gap and ideal-client fit, and a short rationale
• Greenlight and Dismiss buttons on every topic, plus Greenlight All and Dismiss All

Action required: Greenlight the topics you want drafted and Dismiss the rest. When no topics are pending, the card says so and points you to the suggest command.

Working Message

When: You run a Slack command and the work takes a moment.

What it contains:

• A private message that only you see, saying the work is in progress and the card will land in the channel

Action required: None.

Failed Request

When: Topic suggestions could not be generated.

What it contains:

• A private message to you saying the topic suggestion failed, with the reason

Action required: Try again. If it keeps failing, contact support@agenteous.com.

Audit Result in the App

When: You run an audit from New Audit, or a publishing agent calls Brand Guard in Warn or Enforce mode.

What it contains:

• The decision, the score out of 100, and the breakdown across Voice, Visual, Messaging, and Governance
• The flags and the suggested redlines
• On the Brand Auditor screen, counts for Total Audits, Auto-Approved, Sent to Review, Revise or Reject, and Block Rate
• A banner when any audits ended as a failed gate, meaning the check could not finish

Action required: For a draft that was not auto-approved, edit it using the redlines and send it back through the producing agent. If you want a record of a decision to proceed anyway, use Record Override.
