Commands

Voice Outreach has no Slack commands and no Slack channel. You work with it on the Voice Calls screen in the app. Nothing here dials unless your agency has turned dialing on.

Read the Queue

The top of the screen shows four counts: In Queue, Live, Completed, and Needs Review. Below them are Waiting For Your Approval, Active Calls, and Recent Calls. Click Open Call on a row to see that call.

Approve a Brief

Under Waiting For Your Approval, each held call shows the contact, the company and the call goal, with an Approve Brief button. The row does not open the call, so the brief, the compliance result and the checks are not shown there. Click Approve Brief. The pre-call checks run again, then one of these happens, and the button label tells you which.

  • Approved: dialing is on and the checks pass, so the call goes to CloudTalk now.
  • Approved, Dialing Is Off: dialing is switched off. Your approval is recorded and no call is placed. The brief stays in the list, so you can approve again once dialing is on.
  • Approved, Dials In Calling Hours: you approved outside your calling hours. The approval stands and the call is placed when the window opens.
  • Not Placed, Sent For Review: a check that must pass, such as Do Not Call, now fails. The call goes to Needs Review and nothing is dialed.

If you queued the call yourself and separation of duties applies, the approval is refused with a message asking a colleague to approve it.

Open a Call

A call's page has six sections.

  • Call Brief: who is being called, why, and the talking points.
  • Compliance: the decision, how many brief attempts it took, and any findings with a suggested fix.
  • Pre-Call Checks: each check, marked Pass or Fail.
  • Outcome: the disposition, the extracted summary, and a link to the recording when one exists.
  • Transcript: the conversation, with a note when the post-call audit flagged it for review.
  • Trigger Context: what set the call off.

Set Up Voice Outreach

Identity, calling hours, limits, and voice agent templates are set in the Operator Console. See Voice Outreach Setup.

Starting a Call

There is no button for it in the app. Ask your administrator to queue a call.
