Marketing Analytics posts to Slack when it responds to a direct request. It does not send unsolicited alerts or scheduled digests on its own. Every message it posts is a reply to something you asked.

Rollup Response

When: You ask for a marketing summary or cross-agent report.

What it contains:

  • Reporting window and client scope (always stated explicitly)
  • Per-producer counts: total items, breakdown by status, and derived KPI for that producer
  • Trend delta against the prior period where data exists
  • A note for any producer that had no activity in the window

Action required: Review for gaps or trends that need follow-up. The agent will name the relevant delivery agent if a next step is clear.

Single-Producer Report

When: You ask about one specific agent (content, social, PPC, designer, or brand quality).

What it contains:

  • Count totals and status breakdown for that producer
  • The derived KPI for that agent (ship rate, publish-through rate, attach rate, or auto-approve rate)
  • Trend comparison against the prior period
  • Recent activity tail: the last few items with their current status

Action required: None by default. If the numbers flag a stall or gap, decide whether to act on the upstream agent or adjust your pipeline.

Metric Answer

When: You ask a direct question about a specific metric or trend.

What it contains:

  • The number, with the filter it was computed under (client scope and time window)
  • A one-line plain-English note on what is driving the result, where that is clear from the data
  • The name of the gap, if you asked for a metric that is not currently tracked

Action required: None. If the agent names a gap, it also names which delivery agent would need to add the metric.

Unavailable Producer Notice

When: A rollup is requested and one or more producer agents are not active on your install.

What it contains:

  • The name of the producer (display name, not an internal ID)
  • A brief note that it is not available on this account
  • The rest of the rollup proceeds normally for the producers that are active

Action required: None, unless you expected that agent to be running.

If a rollup response names a gap, such as a stalled approval queue or a drop in brand scores, the next action belongs to the relevant agent. Marketing Analytics tells you what it sees; the delivery agents and your team decide what to do next.
