Troubleshooting
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Does the Rollup Show a Producer As "not available"?
Each active agent contributes data to the rollup. If an agent is not running on your account, the rollup marks its section as unavailable and continues with the agents that are active. An unavailable producer is not an error: it means that agent is simply not part of your current setup. If you expected it to be running, contact support@agenteous.com.
Why Does the Agent Show "no prior period" Instead of a Percentage Change?
Trend deltas compare the current window to the same-length window immediately before it. If there was no activity in the prior period, the agent says "no prior period" rather than calculating a delta against zero. This prevents misleading percentage figures. It commonly appears on new accounts or after a gap in production.
What Does the Ship Rate Actually Measure?
Ship rate is the share of content pieces that reached published status, out of all pieces that were not intentionally rejected. A rejected post is excluded because rejection is a deliberate decision: the team chose not to publish it. A post that is stuck in draft, review, or approved and never moves is counted as unshipped. A lower ship rate signals a pipeline bottleneck, not a quality decision.
What Is the Image Attach Rate?
Attach rate is the share of generated images that have been linked to a post. Images that have been generated but not yet assigned to any content are unattached. A low attach rate means Marketing Designer has produced assets that are waiting to be used. Those images are visible in the rollup count; assigning them to posts is a manual step your team takes.
What Is the Brand Guard Auto-Approve Rate?
Auto-approve rate is the share of content items that Brand Guard cleared without routing to a human reviewer. A high rate means the agent is handling most reviews autonomously so your team only sees the edge cases. When the rate drops, more items are going to redline, which means a reviewer needs to look at them. A sustained drop usually reflects a shift in how drafts are written rather than a change in brand standards.
Can I Ask About a Metric That Is Not in the Rollup?
Yes. If you ask for a metric Marketing Analytics does not currently track, it will tell you in plain terms which agent would need to add it. You can then take that request to your account contact or raise it internally. The agent will not invent numbers for metrics it does not have access to.
Common Issues
The Rollup Response Seems Incomplete or Is Missing an Agent
- Check that you asked broadly enough. If you named a specific client, the rollup only covers that client's data.
- Confirm the agent you expected to see is running on your account. Ask specifically: "@Agenteous is [agent name] active on this account?"
- If a producer shows as available but returns no activity, it may simply have had no work in the window you specified. Try widening the window to 30 days.
- If the issue persists, contact support@agenteous.com.
The Trend Delta Looks Wrong
- Check that your time window is what you intended. The default is seven days; if you meant a full month, specify "last 30 days" in your request.
- Trend deltas compare equal-length windows. A seven-day current window is compared to the seven days before it, not the calendar month.
- If activity was added or removed retroactively by another agent (for example, a post was unpublished), the counts will reflect the current state, not the state at time of original publication.
A Client I Manage Is Missing from the Rollup
- Confirm the client account is active.
- Ask for a client-specific rollup using the client's name directly: "@Agenteous rollup for [client name] this month." If the agent cannot find any activity, it will say so explicitly.
- If the client was recently added to the account, it may not have any activity in the reporting window yet. Try "all time" to check.
- If the problem continues, contact support@agenteous.com.
I Asked About a Metric and the Agent Said It Cannot Track It
Marketing Analytics can only report on data the other agents produce. If a metric is not tracked by any of the five producer agents, it is not available in the rollup. The agent will name the gap and identify which producer would need to add it. Bring that request to your account contact so the right team can evaluate it.
