Marketing Podcast

Marketing Podcast helps you plan an episode before you record it and turn the recording into publishable material afterward. Before the recording, it builds an episode plan from your topic, guest, and audience. After the recording, it transcribes the audio, picks the strongest short clips, and writes show notes.

Everything is driven from the Podcast page in the app. You create an episode, attach the audio, and run each stage with its own button. The writing is grounded in your brand voice and brand knowledge, so the plan and the notes sound like the show.

You decide what goes forward. Approving marks the show notes approved, and publishing records where the episode lives. Nothing is posted to a podcast host or a social channel without a click from you.

What It Does

Before the episode. From a topic, an optional guest and guest background, and the audience, the planner returns four to seven segments, each with a working title, a one-line intent, and approximate minutes. It adds six to twelve specific talking points, one call to action that fits your funnel, and a short rationale for the shape.

After the episode. You attach the audio and run the transcript. The transcript has speaker labels and timestamps. From it you can ask for clip suggestions and show notes.

Clips. The suggester picks three to six windows of 30 to 90 seconds. Each has a start and end time, a hook, the most quotable line, the speaker, a note on why it should travel, and a suggested caption of 60 to 180 characters. You can extract the audio for a clip and promote it to Marketing Social as a draft.

Show notes. A summary of 90 to 140 words that leads with the listener's payoff and folds in three to five key takeaways, the guest, resources mentioned, and two to three questions the episode answers. Alongside it are five to ten chapter markers pinned to real timestamps, three to six quotes attributed to speakers, and three short social captions.

The Approval Rule

What happens without you: nothing. Each stage runs when you click it.

What waits for you:

  • Approve needs show notes to exist. It marks the episode approved and, when Brand checking is on, runs the show notes summary and social captions through the check first. Approving does not publish.
  • Publish needs an approved episode. It records the public episode address and the RSS feed address you enter. It does not send anything to a podcast host.
  • Promote to social creates a draft in Marketing Social, which has its own approval before anything is posted.

Brand checking has three modes in the Operator Console: Enforce, Warn, and Off. Warn is the shipped default. In Off no check runs. In Warn or Enforce the check runs when you approve; in Enforce an episode it rejects is held as blocked, and in Warn the rejection is recorded as warned and the episode is approved. See Brand Compliance.
