You work with Proof Points in the app, on the Proof Points library page under Marketing. That page is where you browse evidence, run Scrutiny, and approve or reject candidates. There is nothing to type and no card to wait for; you drive everything from the page.

Browse and Filter the Library

The library page opens to your evidence at a glance: a set of counts across the top (Total, Scrutiny Passed, Candidates, Starred, Needs Review) and the approved library below.

Use the filters to find what you need:

• Category: narrow to a topic such as lead generation, retention, or paid social.
• Confidence: show only higher-confidence points, or include the lower-confidence ones too.
• Source type: separate outcomes, quotes, statistics, and testimonials.
• Starred: show only the points you have marked as favorites.
• Brand: if your agency runs more than one brand, switch to the brand you are working on; each brand has its own library.

The approved library is the set your drafting agents are allowed to cite. Filtering here is how you check what evidence already exists before you go looking for more.

Star a Point

Open any approved point and star it to mark it as one your drafting agents should reach for first. Starring does not change whether a point is usable; it signals which of your usable points are the strongest. Filter by Starred to see your shortlist.

Run Scrutiny

When you have new candidates, click Run Scrutiny. Scrutiny removes near-duplicate candidates, scores the survivors, and ranks them. Points that pass move into Scrutiny Passed.

Remember what this does and does not mean. Passing Scrutiny means a point is not a duplicate and scored well. It does not make the point usable. A point that passed Scrutiny still waits in your Needs Review queue until you approve it.

Approve or Reject in Needs Review

The Needs Review queue is where you turn candidates into usable evidence. Open it and work through the points one at a time.

• Approve: the point joins the citable library. From this moment, your drafting agents can ground copy in it.
• Reject: the point is set aside and will not be cited. You can add a short reason; Proof Points uses it to extract better next time.

This is the only step that makes a point usable. Approving is your decision and no one else's. If you do nothing, nothing changes: an unapproved point simply stays a candidate.

When a point you approve names a specific client, the library keeps an anonymized, public-safe version alongside it. That public version is what gets used in any external draft, so a client name is never exposed.

A Note on Slack

A few Slack shortcuts exist for running these same actions from a channel, but they are meant for operators, not day-to-day use. The library page in the app is the place to do this work: it shows the counts, the queue, and the filters together, which the chat shortcuts cannot.
