What Is the Difference Between Scrutiny Passed and Approved?

They are two separate steps. A point that passed Scrutiny was not a near-duplicate, was kept by the review, and received a score. That ranks the point. It does not make it usable. A point becomes usable only when you Approve it in Needs Review. Until then no draft can cite it, however high it scored.

Who Can Use a Point Once It Is Approved?

Your drafting agents, including Marketing Strategist, Marketing Content, Marketing SEO, Marketing Email, and Marketing Social. They can draw only on approved points. A candidate, a point waiting in Needs Review, and a rejected point are all out of reach.

Can I Add Evidence From the App?

No. The Proof Points screen lists, filters, scrutinizes, and approves, but it has no place to enter a source. Add evidence with the extraction command in Slack. Operators can also edit the wording of an existing point on the Operator Console.

What Happens When a Point Names a Client?

When the source is your own work and names a specific client, extraction also writes a public version that states the same outcome without the client's identity. It shows under the point as Public Version. Outside research is already public and does not get one.

Does the Reason I Type When Rejecting Change Anything?

Yes, for later extractions. When Proof Points reads a new source, it is shown the most recent claims you rejected for that brand (up to 20), with your reasons, and is told not to propose them or close paraphrases again. A specific reason such as "no metric, not citable" helps it avoid the same kind of claim; a blank reason still tells it to avoid the claim itself. It does not change scrutiny, and it does not remove points that are already waiting in Needs Review. The app does not show the reason back to you after you reject a point.

Can I Tell It a Result Is True and Have It Add the Point?

Not directly. Evidence comes from a source you paste. The agent extracts only items that carry a concrete fact, number, outcome, or named source. A claim with nothing behind it is not extracted.

Will I Be Notified When New Candidates Are Ready?

No. Proof Points sends no alerts. Check the Needs Review count on the Proof Points screen.

Who Can Approve and Reject?

People whose role includes the permission to review proof points. Verify, Star, and edit are on the Operator Console and are limited to operators.

What Does the Source Type Filter Do?

It filters by where the evidence came from: your own work or external research. The type of evidence, which is outcome, quote, stat, or testimonial, is a separate label shown on each point. The Category filter is free text.

Common Issues

A Draft Is Missing a Fact You Expected

1. Open the Proof Points screen and check the Needs Review count. The point you wanted may still be waiting for your approval.
2. If the point is in Needs Review with a Scrutiny Passed badge, approve it. Passing Scrutiny does not release a point.
3. Check the brand. Each brand has its own library, and a point approved for one brand is not available to another.

Extraction Found Nothing

1. Check that the source has a citable fact: a number, a named result, a direct quote, or a statistic. Opinion and general commentary are left out on purpose.
2. Try a tighter source. A summary that states the key outcomes plainly extracts better than a long transcript.
3. Make sure you put the brand first. The first word after the command is read as the brand, so a source pasted without one loses its first word.

The Extraction Command Said It Had No Source Text

1. The text after the brand was empty. Add the source after the brand name.
2. Check that the brand comes first and the source follows it in the same message.

The Lookup Command Shows Fewer Points Than the App

1. The lookup shows approved points only, and by default only those that passed Scrutiny. Add verified=false to include approved points that did not.
2. The card shows at most 15 points. Narrow it with category= or min_conf=.
3. The app's Approved Library has no such default, so compare using the same filters.

A Point Passed Scrutiny but Still Cannot Be Cited

1. This is expected. Scrutiny ranks and does not release.
2. Open Needs Review and approve the point. If you do not want it cited, reject it.

You Are Not Sure Why a Point Was Rejected

1. Ask the colleague who reviewed it. The app does not show the reason typed at rejection.
2. If it should be usable and you cannot tell why it is not, contact support@agenteous.com with the details.
