Schedule

Prospector runs continuously once you give it something to work on. You do not start it each time or set a timer. Add domains and it begins; the rest happens on its own through the day.

Processing Uploaded Domains

When you upload or paste company domains, Prospector works through them steadily, a few at a time. It is paced on purpose so it stays inside your monthly limits on paid lookups and does not overwhelm the public sources it searches. A large list does not all complete at once; companies move from Pending to Processing to Done in turn, and you can watch their progress in the Domain Queue.

Re-checking Tracked Prospects

For prospects you keep tracking, Prospector does not stop after the first lookup. It re-checks public sources on a regular cadence through the day, looking for what has changed: a new title, a new hire, a fresh signal. When it finds something materially new, it flags it and updates the matching record in your CRM so your information stays current. This runs quietly in the background; you see the results in your CRM, not as alerts.

Preparing Meeting Briefs Ahead of Time

Prospector scans your upcoming calendar regularly. When it sees an external meeting with a prospect it is tracking, it prepares a prep brief in advance so the brief is ready before the meeting, not after. You find these in the "Upcoming Meeting Briefs" area on the Prospecting page; they appear there on their own.

Working Within Budget

Prospector operates inside set monthly limits on paid lookups. As it approaches a limit, it slows and then stops cleanly rather than overspending. Work already in the queue is not lost; it resumes when the next budget window opens. Raising a limit is a change that affects cost, so it waits for human approval before it takes effect.

In short: you add domains, and Prospector does the rest on its own schedule. It processes your list, keeps tracked prospects fresh, and gets meeting briefs ready ahead of your calls, all without you having to ask again.
