Notifications
Prospector sends no notifications. It does not post to Slack, it does not message you, and it does not interrupt your day. Everything it produces is pulled from the app when you want it, not pushed to you.
This is by design. Prospector is a quiet background researcher. You add domains, it works, and the results wait for you on the Prospecting page. There is no channel to monitor and no alert to clear.
Where to Look Instead
Because nothing is pushed to you, here is where to find what Prospector produces:
- Discovered contacts: open the Prospecting page and watch the Domain Queue. A company marked Done has contacts ready; click its row to read them.
- Meeting briefs: check the "Upcoming Meeting Briefs" area on the Prospecting page. Briefs appear there on their own ahead of external meetings, so it is worth a glance before any prospect call.
- CRM updates: the records Prospector keeps current live in your CRM. The changes are logged there for an audit trail; you do not get a separate alert for each one.
You may have seen other agents post approval cards or digests in Slack. Prospector does not. Make checking the Prospecting page part of your routine, the same way you would check your calendar, and you will never miss what it has found.
