Commands
Talk to Marketing Web by mentioning it in its Slack channel. Use the examples below as a starting point; you do not need to match the phrasing exactly, but the more context you give, the more targeted the brief you receive.
Request a Landing Page Brief
@Agenteous write a landing page for [client or product], target audience [audience], goal [conversion goal]
Marketing Web reads your request, loads the relevant brand voice and product knowledge, and returns a complete page brief. The brief includes the page title, meta description, URL slug, and a set of sections (hero through final CTA) with headline and body copy for each.
Specify a Page Kind
@Agenteous write a [product page / pricing page / feature page / home page] for [client or product]: [topic and goal]
Different page kinds follow different section patterns. Naming the kind tells Marketing Web which anatomy to apply. If you do not specify, it infers the best fit from your goal.
Request a Redraft with New Direction
@Agenteous redraft the [page name] brief with a different angle: [new direction or feedback]
If the first brief is close but not right, give specific direction and Marketing Web produces a new version. You can also use the Redraft button on the approval card rather than typing a new message.
Request Edits to a Specific Section
@Agenteous revise the hero section of the [page name] brief: [what to change]
Marketing Web can update individual sections without redrafting the whole page. Name the section and describe what you want changed.
Ask for a Rationale
@Agenteous explain why you structured the [page name] brief that way
Every brief includes a short rationale. You can also ask Marketing Web to explain the section order or copy choices at any time.
Approval Buttons
When Marketing Web delivers a page brief, the Slack card includes action buttons:
- Approve: The brief is accepted as written. It moves to handoff for publishing or implementation.
- Edit: Opens a prompt for you to describe specific changes. Marketing Web revises the brief and redelivers.
- Redraft: Starts a new brief from scratch. Use this when the direction needs to change significantly.
- Skip: Dismisses the brief without approving. Use this if the page is no longer needed.
Only one person needs to take an action. Once a button is pressed, the card updates to show who acted and what they chose.
