Fireflies

Fireflies is where Agenteous gets meeting transcripts. After a recorded call, the Meeting Assistant reads the transcript from Fireflies and uses it to produce a meeting brief, extract action items, and draft follow-up communications.

What the Agents Do with Fireflies

Reading Transcripts

The Meeting Assistant polls Fireflies for new transcripts after your calls. When one is ready, it reads the full transcript including speaker turns and attendee information. Transcripts typically become available 10 to 30 minutes after a meeting ends.

Meeting Briefs

Once the transcript is available, the Meeting Assistant produces a brief: decisions made, key discussion points, open questions, and attendees. The brief posts to Slack for your review.

Action Items

The Meeting Assistant extracts action items from the transcript and presents them as a checklist in Slack. You review the list, check the items you want to track, and the agent dispatches tasks for the ones you approve.

Follow-Up Drafts

The Meeting Assistant also drafts follow-up emails based on the transcript. Drafts post to Slack as approval cards and land in Gmail Drafts when you approve them.

Knowledge Context

Transcripts are indexed so agents can draw on past meeting content when you ask about a prior discussion or need context on a client relationship.

How to Tell It Is Connected

When Fireflies is connected, the Meeting Assistant posts a meeting brief in Slack within about 30 minutes of a recorded call ending. If you hold a recorded meeting and no brief appears within an hour, or if the agent notes that no transcript was found, verify that your meetings are being recorded and uploaded to Fireflies, then contact support@agenteous.com.
