What the Agents Do with Notion
Knowledge Indexing
When Notion is connected, Agenteous walks the pages and databases you have shared with it and indexes them. Agents can then retrieve relevant sections when answering questions, building briefs, or working on tasks that require background knowledge.
Agent Context
When an agent is drafting content, preparing a brief, or responding to a strategic question, it can draw on what it has indexed from Notion. You do not have to paste in documents; the agent finds what it needs from your indexed content.
Staying Current
Agenteous periodically re-reads the pages it has access to so that updated documents reflect in the knowledge base. New pages you share with the integration become available to agents on the next indexing pass.
What Notion Access to Share
You control which pages and databases Agenteous can read. Share only the content you want agents to work with. Common choices include brand guidelines, service playbooks, client briefs, meeting notes libraries, and strategy documents. Subpages inherit access from their parent, so sharing a top-level page covers everything under it.
The integration reads content only. It does not write to or modify your Notion workspace.
How to Tell It Is Connected
When Notion is connected and content has been indexed, agents respond to questions about your internal documents with accurate details drawn from those documents. For example, asking an agent to summarize your brand guidelines should produce a response that reflects the actual content of the document.
If agents appear unaware of a document you have shared, confirm the page is connected to the integration in Notion (open the page, then Connections, and check that the integration appears). Contact support@agenteous.com if the issue persists.
