Meeting Recorders
A meeting recorder is the tool your agency uses to record and transcribe calls. Agenteous reads the transcripts it produces so the Meeting Assistant can write post-meeting reports, pull out action items and draft follow-ups. The product supports Granola, Fireflies and AskElephant. Your agency connects its own account with one of them, and the credentials are stored in the Operator Console, under Agency, in Connections.
What the Agents Do with Your Transcripts
Reading Transcripts
The Meeting Assistant checks your connected recorder every few minutes for recent transcribed meetings and reads the full transcript of each new one once. A separate check about every fifteen minutes adds new transcripts to meeting intelligence, which collects proof points, testimonials and objections when your agency has that feature turned on.
Pre-Meeting Briefs
Before a meeting, the Meeting Assistant prepares a brief from your calendar event: who is attending, recent history and talking points. A brief is not built from a transcript, because the meeting has not happened yet. Briefs go to Slack, email or both, at a lead time your administrator sets.
Post-Meeting Reports
After a recorded meeting, the Meeting Assistant writes a report from the transcript: decisions, action items and follow-up drafts. The report goes to the principal's channel if the principal attended, and otherwise to the team channel.
Action Items
The action items appear as a checklist card in Slack. Ticking an item creates a task in ClickUp when task creation is set up. The Meetings page in the app lists the action items but does not carry the checkboxes. See ClickUp.
Follow-Up Drafts
Follow-up emails are posted for your approval on a Slack card. Approving one puts it in Gmail Drafts, and you send it from Gmail. If a draft is rejected, the Meetings page shows it with the reason. See Google Workspace.
Manual Submission
If a call was not captured by your recorder, you can paste a transcript or give an audio link on the Meetings page. The Meeting Assistant then runs the same analysis and posts its follow-up drafts on a Slack approval card; approving one puts it in Gmail Drafts.
How to Tell It Is Connected
In Connections, the meetings entry shows the provider your agency uses and whether its credentials are stored. When the connection works, a post-meeting report appears in Slack after a recorded call, and the call shows on the Meetings page.
If a recorded meeting produces no report, or the Meeting Assistant says no transcript was found, first check that your recorder captured the meeting, then contact support@agenteous.com.
