Gmail

Agenteous reads your principal mailbox to triage inbound email and drafts replies for your review. The standing rule across every email path is: agents write to Drafts; you click Send. No email leaves your account without you reviewing it first.

What the Agents Do with Gmail

Inbox Triage

The Principal Assistant monitors your principal mailbox. When new email arrives, it classifies the message, surfaces anything that needs your attention in Slack, and flags urgent items. Routine messages are acknowledged; items requiring a decision or reply get a Slack notification with context.

Draft Replies

When an email warrants a reply, the Principal Assistant drafts one and posts it for your review in Slack. You see the proposed reply, can edit it, and then approve it. The approved draft lands in your Gmail Drafts folder; you send it from there.

Meeting Follow-Ups

After a meeting, the Meeting Assistant writes follow-up emails as Gmail Drafts. The draft appears in Slack as an approval card. Approve it, and the draft is waiting in Gmail when you open it.

Marketing Email Campaigns

Marketing Email uses a separate outbound path to send approved campaign emails on behalf of your agency. Each campaign send goes through Brand Guard review and your approval before anything is dispatched.

How to Tell It Is Connected

When Gmail is connected, the Principal Assistant will post inbox summaries and draft notifications in its Slack channel. If you send yourself a test email and nothing surfaces in Slack within a few minutes, or if reply drafts are not appearing in your Gmail Drafts folder after approving them, contact support@agenteous.com.

Agents write only to your Drafts folder; they do not send email directly. You retain full control over what goes out and when.
