Commands
Talk to Marketing Social in its Slack channel by mentioning @Agenteous. You can also reach it from any channel by including enough context for it to know you want LinkedIn work.
Request a LinkedIn Post
@Agenteous write a LinkedIn post about [topic]
Marketing Social produces three structurally distinct drafts (long-form thought piece, single-stat insight, narrative vignette, numbered list, question, or contrarian take) and recommends one with a one-line rationale. It defaults to your firm's company-page voice unless you specify a staff member.
Specify a Voice
@Agenteous write a LinkedIn post about [topic] in [staff member's] voice
Personal posts are written in the named staff member's voice, not the firm's brand register. The post reads like the person, not a press release.
To keep the default firm voice explicitly:
@Agenteous write a company-page LinkedIn post about [topic]
Adapt Source Material
@Agenteous adapt this blog post to LinkedIn: [paste text or share the link]
Marketing Social reads the source, extracts two or three distinct angles, and produces one draft per angle in the format that best fits each. It then recommends which to publish first based on which opens the strongest discussion for your audience.
Request Hook Variants Only
@Agenteous give me three hooks for a post about [topic]
When you already have a post body and just need the opening line to land, Marketing Social produces three hook variants with a one-line rationale for each. No full draft unless you ask for it.
Specify a Brand
If your agency runs more than one brand, include the brand name:
@Agenteous write a LinkedIn post about [topic] for [brand name]
Each brand has its own voice, content pillars, and audience. Posts default to your primary brand when no brand is named; Marketing Social will confirm which brand it is drafting for before it starts.
Request Multiple Variants
@Agenteous give me three LinkedIn variants on [topic]
The default is three variants when your request is open-ended. You can request a specific number or a specific format:
@Agenteous write a contrarian LinkedIn post about [topic]
Ask a Strategy Question
@Agenteous why didn't [post topic] land last week?
@Agenteous what's the best format for a post about a client result?
Marketing Social answers LinkedIn strategy questions directly: hook discipline, format fit, timing, engagement plans, and what the platform rewards or penalizes right now. It does not fabricate engagement data it does not have.
Approval Buttons
When a draft is ready, Marketing Social posts an approval card in the social channel with the full post text, the recommended hook, the suggested post time, and an engagement plan. The card has four buttons:
- Approve: the post moves to the publishing queue at the suggested time.
- Edit: returns the draft to you for your own revisions; you can post the edited version back and it will route through approval again.
- Redraft: Marketing Social regenerates from a different angle or format. Add a note to the redraft request to steer the next attempt.
- Skip: closes the draft without scheduling. The reason is logged so the next session knows not to repeat the angle.
