Notifications
Marketing Social posts all messages to your social Slack channel. Here is what each notification means and what you need to do.
Draft Ready for Approval
When: Marketing Social has finished a set of drafts and they have cleared brand-fit and compliance checks.
What it contains:
- The full post text for each variant, formatted as it will appear on LinkedIn
- The recommended hook and the two alternatives that were considered
- Suggested post time with a short rationale (why that window for that brand)
- Engagement plan: which staff members to plant early comments, which accounts to react, which DMs to follow up if specific people engage
- Which brand and voice the draft is for (company page or named staff member)
- Approval buttons: Approve, Edit, Redraft, Skip
Action required: Review the draft and click one of the four buttons. The post does not move until you act.
Brand Guard Returned a Redline
When: Brand Guard sent a draft back with feedback before it could reach your approval card.
What it contains:
- A summary of the issues Brand Guard flagged (tone drift, positioning mismatch, brand-unsafe phrasing)
- The specific lines or phrases that triggered the redline
- Marketing Social's proposed revision, or a note that it needs your direction before revising
Action required: Review the feedback. If the revision looks correct, confirm it and the redline cycle completes. If you want to steer the revision differently, reply with your direction.
Compliance Check Flagged
When: A draft did not clear the compliance gate before reaching Brand Guard.
What it contains:
- The flag type and the specific text that triggered it
- Revision notes: what to change to clear the gate
Action required: Reply with your preferred revision, or ask Marketing Social to revise per the flags and re-run.
Post Scheduled
When: You approved a draft and it has been added to the publishing queue.
What it contains:
- A preview of the post text
- The scheduled date and time
- The account it will post to (company page or the named staff member's account)
Action required: None. This is a confirmation. If the time looks wrong, reply to reschedule before the post goes out.
Post Published
When: A scheduled post has gone live on LinkedIn.
What it contains:
- A short preview of the post
- The account and publication timestamp
- A link to the live post when available
Action required: None. This is a record of what went out. If you spot an issue with the live post, reply in the thread and Marketing Social will note it.
Cadence Collision Notice
When: Multiple drafts were approved at the same time and publishing all of them at the planned times would violate per-account or per-brand daily caps.
What it contains:
- Which posts are affected
- A proposed sequence with revised post times
- The reason for each timing adjustment (per-account cap, topic stagger, cross-brand overlap)
Action required: Confirm the proposed sequence or reply with your preferred order.
Amplification Suggestion from Another Agent
When: Another delivery agent (for example, Marketing Content or Marketing Podcast) has produced an asset and tagged Marketing Social to consider amplifying it on LinkedIn.
What it contains:
- The asset or a summary of it
- A one-line note from the tagging agent explaining why it might fit LinkedIn
- Marketing Social's initial read: yes (it will draft a set), yes with a different angle (it will draft and explain the angle change), or no (it explains why the asset does not fit LinkedIn well)
Action required: If Marketing Social said yes, an approval card follows. If it said no, you can override the assessment by replying.
