Where You Work
Agenteous has four places to work, and each one has a different job. The app is where your daily work lands. The Operator Console is where your agency configures and monitors the agents. The Tools are guided wizards for scoping and auditing. Slack is where you talk to the agents. They draw on the same underlying work, so you can move between them at any time.
The App
The app is your daily workspace. It is where the agents' work arrives as finished, organized screens: drafts waiting on your sign-off, signals the agents noticed, prospects you are chasing, meetings, client accounts, and the marketing workspace where each marketing agent's output collects. The home screen opens on what needs you right now.
The Work Queue is the hub. Most approvals and decisions gather there in one prioritized list, and acting on an item in the app clears its card in Slack. Follow-up email drafts from the Meeting Assistant and the Sales Assistant are the exception: you approve those on their Slack card.
Open the app when you want to review and decide. Start with the App Overview, then the Work Queue.
The Operator Console
The Operator Console is where your agency sets Agenteous up and keeps an eye on it. It holds the configuration for your agency, brands, connections, people and inboxes, the settings for each agent, and the monitoring views for how the agents and the system are running. It is for the people who administer the product, not for daily review of drafts.
Open it when you want to change how the agents behave, connect a system, or check that everything is healthy. Start with The Operator Console.
The Tools
The Tools are a separate set of guided wizards for the work that sits between sales and delivery: pricing a migration or a HubSpot build, drafting a proposal, auditing a HubSpot portal, a website or search visibility, and turning a scope into a ClickUp project plan. You supply the facts only you know, the tool does the arithmetic and the writing, and you decide what leaves it. The HubSpot Builder is the exception: once you register a client's portal, an AI assistant can change that portal directly, with no review step.
Open the Tools when you are scoping or auditing for a client rather than reviewing the agents' day-to-day output. Start with the Tools Overview.
Slack
Slack is where you talk to the agents. You mention an agent in its channel, or ask the Concierge in its own channel, and the agent replies in the same place with a card you can act on. Agents also post proactive updates there, such as digests and alerts.
Channels are not one per agent. Some agents share a channel, and some have none, so their work shows up in the app instead. Most approval cards in Slack mirror the Work Queue: act on one in either place and it clears in the other. Meeting Assistant and Sales Assistant follow-up cards live only in Slack.
Open Slack when you want to ask for something in the middle of your day. See The Agent Team for how to ask each agent, and Slack for how the connection works.
