Marketing Landing Pages
Marketing Landing Pages writes landing pages for HubSpot. You start a page from the app with a topic, an audience, and a call to action. The agent drafts the copy and the page body, you review and approve it, and a separate Publish to HubSpot step creates the page in your HubSpot portal.
Approving a page and publishing it are two different actions. Approve records your review and stores the brand check result. Publish to HubSpot is what creates the page in HubSpot, and by default it creates a HubSpot draft. You choose Push Live only when you want the page public right away.
What It Does
You give the agent a topic, an audience, a call-to-action label and link, and optionally some source material to build from. It writes a headline, sub-headline, body copy, supporting bullets, a social proof line, a page title, a meta description, a URL slug, and the call-to-action text, all in the voice of the brand you pick. It then builds the page body from that copy. Your HubSpot template supplies the fonts, colors, and layout around it.
The finished page waits for you on the Landing Pages screen in the app, under Awaiting Review. It also appears in the Work Queue. If your agency has assigned a Slack channel to this agent, an approval card is posted there too. Acting in one place updates the others.
Marketing Landing Pages builds landing pages only. It does not build forms, email templates, or workflows, and it does not read or change HubSpot contacts, deals, or other CRM records.
Key Capabilities
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Brand-aware copy | Headline, sub-headline, body, bullets, social proof line, meta description, URL slug, and call to action written in the chosen brand's voice |
| Source material | Paste a brief or notes and the copy is built from your material instead of generic claims |
| Edit in place | Click a copy field on the page to change it; changes save when you click away |
| Brand check on approval | When brand checking is set to Warn or Enforce, Approve runs the page past Brand Guard and records the result |
| Separate publish step | Publish to HubSpot creates a HubSpot draft, or goes live when you choose Push Live |
| Per-brand portal | Each page goes to the HubSpot portal set for its brand, or to your agency's main HubSpot portal when the brand has none |
| Three places to act | The Landing Pages screen, the Work Queue, and the Slack card |
The Approval Rule
Nothing reaches HubSpot until a person asks for it. There are three separate decisions, and each one is yours.
Approve. Approve marks the page as reviewed. When brand checking is set to Warn or Enforce, it also runs the page past Brand Guard and stores the result. Approve does not create anything in HubSpot. If you edit or regenerate the copy after approving, the approval is cleared and the page goes back to review, so Approve runs the check again on the new text.
Publish to HubSpot. This step creates the landing page in the portal. Left as it is, it creates a HubSpot draft that you can preview in HubSpot. Choosing Push Live creates the page and makes it live. Publishing again later updates the same HubSpot page rather than creating a second one, so you can create a draft, review it in HubSpot, and then push that same page live. Publishing is available once the page is approved and the brand check has not rejected it (with brand checking Off or Warn, the check never blocks). A page the check scored for review or revision can still be published, with its flags listed in the Brand Auditor Decision section: read them before you publish.
Reject. Reject sets the page aside, with an optional reason. A rejected page cannot be published.
Brand checking has three modes, set in the Operator Console: Enforce, Warn, and Off. Warn is the shipped default. With Off, no brand check runs when you approve, and Publish to HubSpot is still available. With Warn, a rejection is recorded as warned and does not block publishing. See Brand Guard for what each mode does.
Who It's For
- Account managers: get a landing page for a client's campaign drafted and into HubSpot without writing the copy from scratch.
- Content and marketing staff: produce on-brand pages for promotions, events, and launches, and edit the copy before anything is created in HubSpot.
- Agenteous owners: keep a human decision in front of every page that reaches a client's HubSpot portal.
