Marketing Social
Marketing Social writes LinkedIn posts for your agency. It turns a story, a meeting, a campaign brief or a meeting transcript into several LinkedIn-ready drafts, each in a different format, written either in the company's voice or in the voice of a named team member. Once you approve a draft, it publishes to LinkedIn on its own at the next publishing slot.
LinkedIn is the only network it publishes to. You can post from the company page or from a connected team member's own account, depending on the voice you choose for the draft.
You start drafts in the app by choosing New Post in the Social workspace and pasting a source story. Drafts also arrive from a Marketing Strategist dispatch, from clips you choose Promote to Social on in Marketing Podcast, and, if your install has the meeting-to-post pipeline switched on, from meetings: when a recording scores well enough, a LinkedIn draft is written from its strongest moments and posted to Slack for review.
Key Capabilities
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Format variety | Six formats: long-form, single stat, narrative, list, question and contrarian. When you do not pin formats, it prefers those used least recently for the brand, so the feed does not repeat one shape |
| Hooks | Several opening lines are tried for each post. The one used is shown, with the alternatives the writer considered and why it chose that draft |
| Voice | Company voice, or a staff member's own voice and hashtags where the brand has set them up |
| Proof points | Drafts weave in at most one or two verified proof points, instead of generic credentials |
| Source rules | Names of your people and clients are replaced with roles, private financials are left out, and outside parties are anonymized |
| Scheduling | An approved post is given a slot and published automatically |
| Published notice | A short note in Slack when a post goes live |
| Blog hand-off | Generate Blog Post turns a post into a draft in Marketing Content |
The Approval Rule
Marketing Social drafts on its own. Publishing needs a person.
Approve. Approving a draft queues it for its next slot. A scheduler checks every five minutes and publishes due posts to LinkedIn with no further click. On a queued post, Publish Now sends it immediately. A draft with a scheduled time is published automatically when that time arrives, whether it is a company post or a staff post.
Brand checking. Brand checking has three modes in the Operator Console: Enforce, Warn and Off. Warn is the shipped default. When it is on, the check runs at publish time, after you approve. In Enforce, a failing post is blocked and not published. In Warn, flags are recorded and the post still publishes. In Off, the check is skipped. See Brand Compliance. The header on the Social workspace says every post passes the brand check before it queues; that is true only when brand checking is on.
Reject. Rejecting a draft removes it from the schedule.
