ICP Refinements

What It's For

ICP Refinements is the review queue for suggested changes to your Ideal Customer Profile, the description of the companies your agency wins and serves best. In the Operator Console, under Sales & Meetings, open ICP Refinements.

As Agenteous processes your meetings and sees deals close, it can propose a refinement to your ICP. Each proposal waits here, and in the Work Queue, for a person to approve or dismiss it, with the supporting evidence alongside. Your decisions build a record of how your view of the ideal customer has changed.

Pending Proposals

Each proposal shows the suggested change, the evidence behind it, a confidence badge (for example 80% Confidence), the brand it relates to when there is one, any supporting deals, and when it was proposed.

  • Approve: marks the proposal approved and records who approved it and when.
  • Dismiss: opens a Reason (Optional) box. Click Confirm Dismiss to dismiss it with your reason, or Cancel to back out.

Both decisions are written to the audit trail, and a proposal already decided cannot be decided again. Approving records your agreement; it does not rewrite the ICP narrative shown further down the page. When nothing is waiting, the section reads No Proposals Awaiting Review.

Recent Deal Outcomes

Recently closed deals that feed the proposals: an outcome badge, the deal's name and its amount, the client, the reason it was won or lost when recorded, any objection themes, and when it closed. Names come from your CRM; a deal with none on record reads Unnamed Deal.

Current ICP Narrative

Your current ICP narrative, read-only. Click Show Narrative to expand it. If none has been written yet, the section reads "No ICP Narrative File Found Yet."

Reviewed History

Your 25 most recent approvals and 25 most recent dismissals, each with an Approved or Dismissed badge, the proposal, who reviewed it, when, and the dismissal reason if one was given.

If the queue cannot be loaded, the page shows ICP Refinements Unavailable.

Who Uses It

  • Agency owners and sales leads: decide which lessons from meetings and deals should shape who you target.
  • Marketing leads: keep messaging aligned with the profile you have agreed.
  • Approving or dismissing needs ICP management rights (the Marketing Operator, Admin Operator or CCO role).
