Brand Guard
What It's For
Brand Guard, headed Brand Auditor on screen, shows how the brand auditor has judged your marketing drafts and lets you audit any text on demand. The auditor scores a draft against a brand's voice, visual, messaging, and governance rules, then reaches a decision. The check itself runs inside the other marketing workspaces, and this page is where you see the results and dig into the ones that were not cleared.

When Audits Run
Brand checking has three modes, set in the Operator Console under Compliance, in Brand Compliance:
- Enforce: a draft that does not pass is blocked. For blog and LinkedIn posts, that means anything short of Auto-Approved. For email, landing pages, web pages, podcast and video, it means a Rejected draft (or a Gate Failed audit).
- Warn: the auditor runs and records its findings, but nothing is held back. Blog and LinkedIn posts, email, landing pages, web pages, podcast and video all go through whatever the score; a draft the auditor would have rejected is recorded as warned. This is the shipped setting. A Gate Failed audit (the auditor could not finish) still holds the draft.
- Off: the auditor does not run on approval or on publishing, and approved emails and landing pages go out as normal.
When the auditor runs depends on the workspace. For blog posts and LinkedIn posts it runs when the post publishes, including a scheduled publish, so a post you approved can still be blocked when its time arrives. For email, landing pages, web pages, podcast and video it runs when you approve.
With brand checking Off, the other workspaces produce no audits (under Warn, each approval or publish records one), so this page shows only the audits you run yourself with New Audit. Brand checking does not run on Syndications.
How a Draft Is Scored
The auditor gives each draft a brand consistency score out of 100 and a breakdown by area, and lists the rules it found missed. It also runs pattern checks for specific phrases and required disclosures, using each brand's own rules. The score sets the decision:
| Score | Decision |
|---|---|
| 85 or higher | Auto-Approved |
| 70 to 84 | Sent To Review |
| 50 to 69 | Needs Changes |
| Below 50 | Rejected |
Pattern checks can override the score. A critical hit rejects the draft whatever its score, and a serious hit on a draft in the auto-approve range sends it to review instead of auto-approving it.
These are the shipped thresholds; your operator can change them in Brand Compliance, where each brand's rules are also kept. A fifth outcome, Gate Failed, means the auditor itself could not finish (for example, the draft was malformed). The agent that asked treats a gate failure as a block.
Counts
Five counts sit across the top: Total Audits, Auto-Approved, Sent to Review, Revise or Reject, and Block Rate. If any audits failed in the window, a banner says how many.
Recent Blocks
The last twenty-five audits that were not auto-approved, each with its decision and score. Open one to see the audit in full: its score out of 100, the score breakdown by area, the Flags raised, suggested Redlines, the Deterministic-Rule Trail of pattern checks that fired, and the Provenance of the draft.
Record Override on an audit lets you note that you disagree with the auditor. Add a reason (optional, but recommended) and click Confirm Override. The override is stored on the audit for later review and calibration. It does not approve or publish the draft; that still happens in the draft's own workspace.
New Audit
New Audit opens Run a Brand Audit. Paste the Draft Content (required), and optionally choose the Brand, the Channel it will publish to (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Email, Blog, Paid ads, Landing page, or Other), the Post Kind, and a Reference such as a link or draft ID. Click Run Audit.
The result shows the decision, the brand consistency score and its breakdown, findings, and suggested redlines, with a link to the full audit. Running an audit here sends and publishes nothing; it is a way to check a piece of text before it goes anywhere.
